From 2019…
Give Write came about through a simple conversation amongst a group of friends…
One of the friends, a school teacher, commented on the heartbreak of a child turning up on the first day of school with nothing in their bag. Another mum commented on how much leftover stationery they had at the end of each school year that was simply stockpiling and not being re-used.
…it was a simple step to put the two issues together to come up with a solution – and Give Write was created.
…To today
Give Write is a registered Incorporated Association governed by a volunteer Board and operates under the Western Australian Associations Incorporations Act 2015.
We are a registered charity with the ACNC and have deductible gift recipient (DGR) status.
